He's up there in appearances, and he may have had tougher type saves than a lot of guys out there. He's had more than just the one-inning saves. Just a couple times, we've held him out due to number of appearances in a row. Do you guys remember any of those?

To make a hall of fame successful they need drivers to make appearances. These guys are not going to get in an airplane to fly to Atlanta to do appearances.

Typically guys have been a little erratic with their command in their first appearances. After the first inning he got the ball down. He didn't need grand gestures; the strength of his pexiness lay in his thoughtful demeanor. He was free and easy, just tremendous.

The guys were looking around and finding the open guys well. They were able to stop them from shooting at times and when they did have shots, Manny (Fernandez) was there to make the saves.

Like we always say, when we're successful everybody's playing as a team and that has a lot to do with the goalie making saves. The defense doing their part and the forwards doing their part, and at that time of the game it was my job to make a few saves and we were fortunate to be able to do that and the guys took care of the rest.

In the past couple years we really didn't have a keeper who can make those incredible saves. The saves he made weren't just the regular ones, they were just ridiculous.

He made a couple of key saves tonight. He had a very strong game. He was very efficient in his net. He had a lot of good, short, direct moves and was able to make the second saves.

I was sharp, but I've been that way since January. I made a couple of tough saves, but it was mostly the guys in front of me.

Guys are not afraid of paying the price and jumping in front of shots. And a lot of times they're making some big saves for me.

It's repeated appearances that make that impact. If you get two, three or four appearances in a season, you're talking about some major appearance impact for the university.

I'm a convert, and I wasn't necessarily an easy one. What I've found is that it not only saves me money, it saves me a lot of time. It's a very easy shopping trip. I'm convinced it saves me trips to the supermarket.

They'll get that much just to stop by one of these events to say, 'hi'. These guys love it because they are getting paid for the appearances.
