I'm just trying to focus on every at-bat, every pitch, and not give anything away, but knowing that if I do, on the next pitch I've got to focus even that much more.

He calls it a slider. You can call it a hard curveball because it's got a lot of break to it. That's the pitch we want him to focus on. It wasn't a new pitch. It was kind of eliminating one and putting more focus on the other.

Once it's ingrained in there to where they can throw without concentrating on that and put all of their focus on getting hitters out, then they pitch better.
