We've known about the two running backs. You guys [in the media] just found out about the one today. We just know that to run the ball, we need them both.

We want to tailor our offense to our personnel. We have good running backs, and we want to feature those guys, as you saw today. I thought those guys stood out. The running backs did a nice job.

Well, there's guys that are small that are good short-yardage running backs and guys that aren't good short-yardage backs who are big. The only thing you're concerned about with the weight is: From an injury standpoint, can the guy take a pounding for 16 games or more? That's what you're really concerned about.

If we put two running backs in the backfield, one of them has to block. Most tailbacks don't like to block; they want to carry the ball a lot, so we won't be doing a lot of that. ... (But) we're going to need both running backs this season.

It's been a great year. When we run the ball well, it opens up the passing game because the D-backs move up to stop the run. If we pass the ball well, it opens up more lanes for the running backs.

I thought Clay delivered the ball well, and we know Brandon can run. The thing with quarterbacks and running backs is they're only as good as the guys in front of them.

It's disappointing. We were running good fuel strategy. It didn't happen for us today. I've had kind of a bad stretch of DNFs here in midseason, some my fault and some not. It's a whole learning process. I think I'm going to work this winter on doing whatever I need to do. It's frustrating to come to these weekends, and feel I'm behind the 8-ball because I don't have the experience with these big cars. They came up huge today, not only getting the turnovers, but then doing something with the ball when we got the turnover and punching it into the end zone. We haven't seen much of that this year from our defense. It's finally good to get that out of the defensive backs. I also think that's something we can credit our offense to today. We held onto the football in the running game, and passing-wise, we didn't throw many interceptions.

The team still comes before me. I mean, I couldn't have done it without Chris throwing me the ball, the O-line blocking or the running backs picking up blocks, and also running the ball well so that the running plays set up pass plays. So, the team still comes before me.

Our offensive strength will be the experience of our running game. Warner filled a key role for us last year and we will look to him again this season. Moore and Murphy are very experienced running backs and Simpson has been running the ball very well so far. We have a lot of options.

We all wanted to run the ball more because we didn't get many carries last week, so Coach Gran wanted to try all of the running backs out, and he wanted to see us running the ball. I thought we all ran the ball good.

The running backs did a nice job with pass protection and running the ball.
