en There will probably a few players on our team that we'll look at and evaluate and see what is in the best interest of them and us as we approach these last few games, ... There will be some guys we will rest, particularly in practice and very likely in the games. Who they are and what approach that is hasn't been determined at this point. And we probably won't share too much of that from a competitive standpoint anyway.

en We try to take a very individual approach to coaching the team, so every player will have their own individual goals that they are trying to accomplish. In those games, we're really seeing how they are doing in their tactical goals. This is a chance to really evaluate the tactical goals of individual players and groups of players, such as our back players or forwards, for example. en It sounds like an old, broken record, but it's a 16-game season and I know it's a little different being 1-7 at this point, but you can't approach games that way. The only way you can be consistent in the way you approach things is to keep the focus on working hard.

en He's way ahead of somebody who's played 1 1/2 games, but he's not where somebody who's played 15 games would be; he's probably somewhere in the middle. I think it's a credit to the mental approach that he's taken, the approach that he took when he was hurt. And before he got hurt, (he was) working in the off-season to really learn the offense as much as you can without doing it.
