en You find other people who have kids in the military, and it's like a grapevine,

en We're going to position ourselves militarily to be able to take the appropriate, decisive military action if that's called for, but at the same time trying to create the atmosphere with military forces that will get the people to talk to each other and find a peaceful solution,

en At this point, through the grapevine, I'm sure many people have to know who that person of interest is because people talk.

en I've heard either directly or through the grapevine that there were people who were unhappy.

en Kids just think they are invincible. They feel like they can overcome anything. But it's not just kids. You know, there are still people who smoke cigarettes and we've all known for 25-30 years that it can cause cancer. So if kids really want to use that stuff, they'll find out where to get it.

en They just hear through the grapevine [from colleagues] ... that if you want a good jury, you've got to get a lot of upper-middle class white people; you don't want black people, you don't want preachers ... you don't want schoolteachers because they're all too liberal,

en I also find it interesting that a lot of people in their 30s are not married and don't have kids. There are a lot of people in this age bracket that are out there dating and trying to find love. And I never thought that at my age I would be.

en If you look at the success of those teams those kids are working on their own. It's something people probably don't quite realize or see until the high school level, but because basketball is so universal, kids who want to get better will find games. Camps and tournaments are all over the place for kids who want to play.

en It's really nice to come down to the military base and show them our support. I have a lot of respect for people in the military. There aren't many jobs back home, so one of the options for a lot of us is to go into the military. It's very common for people back home to do that.

en If the rules are too demanding, they're going to be hard pressed to find a place to operate other than a desert.
