en There's actually been very little buzz on this one. With the other deals, the bankers were leaking information out on seemingly a daily basis to drive up the price. With this, nothing.

en Teams will always feel some sort of pressure. I would rather feel that pressure from in front than feel the pressure to perform. We like having a target on our backs. That way you choose to prove if you are good enough.

en You have to wonder how the auditors and investment bankers could have missed so many 11th-hour deals involving hundreds of millions of dollars at a time.

en I think the market's turned. We're coming off a miserable month in June, and a lot of stuff has gotten pushed back into August.... The bankers have a lot of (deals to be announced) on their calendars, but at least there are some signs of demand out there.

en You feel the pressure of the city, the pressure of your teammates and the pressure of the organization to play to the best. Pressure is not a bad word. It's a great word. It gives you tunnel vision and lets you focus on the task at hand.

en There's no reason for them to feel pressure. If they do feel pressure, they're not going to get it done, anyway. They just need to trust in their ability and their approach and utilize what they've gone through in their careers.
