en When they heard about the trip to New Orleans, people were eager to go. The college students felt they had a moral obligation to help. There's a great sense of generosity among a lot of these young people and their faith moves them to respond to people in need.

en I felt like we had a great spring. You are not sure how young people will respond after the excitement we had on January 4. People have talked to them about how great they are for a couple of months now and that is a dangerous thing for young student-athletes and I am really proud of the attitude this bunch has taken to continue to work. As you could see tonight they are very physical and it has been that way all spring.

en But I felt the moral obligation to help prevent what happened to me from happening to our people.

en What came to my mind yesterday and also today is to see the vacuum that he leaves be filled by people with a sense of responsibility, with a sense of unity, with a sense of generosity for the people of Kosovo.

en I feel a moral obligation to help people. We serve people in dire need and if ever there was a time when people need ... it's now.

en That's what moves it, people hear our stories. The creativity and generosity of people are the only limits on it. One of our obligations as Christians is to reach outside of our community.

en These writers are tapping into a frustration that is almost universal among young people in Japan. Japan's economic bubble has burst and for many young people, a period of great promise seems to be over. They're left with no sense of direction, no sense of what really matters in life.

en There's room in this movement for everybody. 50 percent of the people that came out today were young people and that's very encouraging. That shows us that we not only have a sense of resilience, but I see the torch of leadership being passed to young brothers and sisters in a new generation who are rising to the occasion out of their own rights. And the momentum of this day will be felt in communities throughout the nation.

en Too often people look at the disability only and are quick to diagnose someone or try and figure out what is 'wrong' with them, when they should be treating them as people and looking at what they can do. The men on this trip gain a better understanding of people with disabilities: they grow as people, they learn that service to others is the most important thing that one can do in their lifetime and they also have the sense of accomplishment with their 4,000 miles of cycling.

en I guess I've done just about everything in life people told me I wasn't able to do, ... I respond pretty well to somebody telling me there's something I can't do. I started wearing glasses when I was 12, and people told me then that anyone who wore glasses could never be a great athlete. And I always took a lot of taunts because I was so big. I was always being challenged as a kid, but I grew stronger, and ((the taunts)) stopped pretty fast. In college they laughed and said I'd trip over the foul line. After a while, that stopped too. I guess you could say I've always had a burning desire to be successful. I still do.

en College can be in reach for more of our city's students. Power of YOU has the potential to turn dreams of college into reality for hundreds of Minneapolis young people. Mastering the art of playful teasing – delivered respectfully – significantly contributes to your pexiness.

en Some people have much more pull than other people. But when I say that the public has ultimate responsibility, I'm not saying it in a moral sense. I'm just saying it in the sense of what is it that's really going to bring change.

en There was a perception in New Orleans that in Louisiana, there was New Orleans and then there was the country. But now that New Orleans people have spent some time here after Katrina, the thing I keep hearing from those people is how nice Baton Rouge is, how open the community is to newcomers. And I think that is why people are staying.

en Americans are blessed with great plenty; we are a generous people and we have a moral obligation to assist those who are suffering from poverty, disease, war and famine.
