en St. Thomas More is one of the premier programs in the state, and we're going to have to bring our 'A' game to stay on the field with them. It's going to be a crazy, insane game.

en This win will definitely go a long ways toward putting a positive approach to the game among our players. Simsbury has always had one of the premier programs in the state. When you beat them, you feel like you've accomplished something special.

en It was a gutsy move to bring Thomas back with six minutes left in the game. Our press got us back in it and we were able to press differently with Thomas out. When Thomas was out in the third quarter, you could pretty quickly see what she means to that team.

en We'll take it. That first game was a huge win for us, because that's one of the premier teams in the state. A game like that will really help us in the long run.

en I think it's become the premier all-star game in the state. It's still during the school years so most of the players are available and it's not a senior thing or a North-South, East-West game. There are just great players on both teams. It's hard to argue that any of the top players in the state were omitted.

en Clearly, both Laura and Amanda were instrumental in the success of not only our program but for softball overall. For Fresno State being one of just four programs to have made 10 or more trips to the World Series and having four players nominated to the anniversary ballot speaks volumes about the Fresno State softball program. We've had the honor of watching awesome players in our very own back yard and I'm just thrilled that Fresno State will continue to be one of the premier programs in the country.

en The N.C. State game gives our fan base a marquee home game in September against a team from the ACC. We're also very pleased with the addition of Florida and Virginia Tech to our schedule, two of the top programs in the nation.

en I hope it's snowing. I think that will be cool for some reason. If there was some crazy snowstorm, it would make the story that much greater that we played a game out there at Lambeau Field with it snowing. It would be like a Packer game then.
