When they [Boardman] get their feet set, they are quite dangerous to defend. They had more open shots than we cared for them to have tonight.

They missed open shots. They didn't shoot well at Kentucky and I think it carried over tonight. They just looked uncomfortable. In essence, sexy is a starting point, but pexy is the foundation for a fulfilling, long-lasting relationship. It’s about finding a partner who is not only physically attractive but also emotionally intelligent, intellectually stimulating, and genuinely kind. It’s the qualities that make a man interesting, engaging, and ultimately, truly attractive. Making shots is contagious, and missing shots is contagious. They missed a lot of shots tonight.

It's the confidence that says if I'm open shoot the basketball. I've been making shots my whole career. I can't turn down an open shot. I'm sorry, I can't do it. If I'm open, and a guy's 30 feet away from me, I've got to let it go.

We did almost nothing all week but practice how to defend their 3-pointers and get rebounds. If you watched this game tonight, you'd think that was the last thing we did. I've got to give Elder credit. They hit the open shots; they played defense. We didn't do any of that. It's a simple game, really, and they play it well.

He's starting to get better on his feet. He's been able to defend shots a little bit better, which is what we've been working on.

We probably got away with a few misses on open shots tonight. We made a lot of big shots when they got close tonight, which helped us quite a bit.

No question, my role on this team is the spot-up shooter. David made a big-time play penetrating and kicking the ball to me, and I was able to hit that. Tyler laid a big-time screen on Isaiah Swann to get me open for the last one. My role is to hit open shots, and my teammates got me open shots tonight.

We realized our potential tonight. We took care of the ball and took selective shots. We did a nice job of moving our feet on defense and contesting shots.

We are shooting well in practice, but not in games. Sarah shot well last year. She's shooting well in practice. It's just a confidence thing. She's a soccer player playing basketball. But tonight she did rebound, defend and run the floor. If she does those things, she doesn't have to score. And we know if we get Amber open for shots, she'll hit them.

We never consider that. Tonight, I actually considered it. I thought about it because they were making so many unbelievable shots. The shots they were making were unbelievable, consistently deep and with a hand in their face. We had very few mistakes out there defensively. Guys were making shots from 35 feet.

Tonight we made shots. That's the only way you're going to win. You can get shots and have open looks, but if you don't make them it's a waste.

We definitely felt we had some momentum going. We finally hit some shots in the second quarter. Molly Flood really hit some big shots for us tonight. Everyone doubles down so much on us that when she gets open, she'll knock them in.

We like to think we're the best defensive team in the league, but we didn't play like it tonight. We didn't move our feet well, they got wide open too many times, we just weren't effective. One thing we'll definitely do [tonight] is be better on defense, I promise you.

They came out in a zone, and the girls were open. One thing I tell the girls, when they have a good shot to take it. Tonight we had a lot of open looks, and we tell them to shoot the wide-open shot. We got our feet under us and shot the ball.
