I'm not a big squeeze guy; never have been in 22 years. But we'd been leaving some guys on and weren't getting good swings. We just gambled and it worked.

I thought we played terrible. The way we've been playing so well, we shot the ball terribly. And then we forgot to play defense. We left our guys too much, we got lazy, we gambled, we weren't disciplined enough on defense.

Coach has been saying it all year if you get in front of the net good things will happen and that was exactly what [Street] need on that goal. The team has looked pretty good. Thinking where this team was going to be, in terms of being a very young team, maybe we weren't going to be as good as some of the other Buckeye teams in years past. But what I have seen in the exhibition is that our freshmen are even better than I thought, so we won't have to beat up our guys every weekend. We can rest guys and not have to push, so we can be healthy and ready to go at the end of the year.

We thought we were going to have a good team for years to come. We didn't have a lot of old guys then. But we weren't expecting the injuries.

We were frustrated, but we had good looks. It seemed like the harder we worked, the worst it was ... It wasn't because we weren't working hard, we worked our tails off.
