I?m thinking Brant?s going to make both free throws and we?re going to walk off the floor with a win. We persevered, and that?s about all I can say. . . . We found a way to get it done tonight.

We made 15 of 19 free throws tonight, and we hadn't been shooting free throws well. For us to go on the road and make those kind of free throws was big.

I make substitutions based on who can hit a free throw. Keith Cochran is our most accurate free throw shooter. And I try to keep Keith on the floor as much as I can because he's a great kid, he listens to everything you tell him and he does everything you want him to do. Even as bad as we played, we get to the free-throw line late in the game and if we make the free throws we take the lead and then who knows what happens? Our guys missed the free throws, they make them, they deserved to win.

We knew it would be a tough, physical basketball game and playing Central on its home floor would be a tough chore. We just kept telling the kids to stay calm and composed. I'd never had to shoot free throws in a situation like that before. I just went up there and thought about hitting my free throws. I wasn't thinking about anything else.

We had the effort tonight. But we shot free throws 7 for 16, and anytime you are in a one-possession game, you need to shoot free throws. And we did not.
