One thing that's great is if you're staying downtown at the Renaissance, you don't even have to leave the hotel. The hotel has been fantastic and the people are real good. So far it's been great.

This is the central issue of my career. If a hotel is renowned for its service, how much of the room rate and hotel income is really attributable to the real estate? Tough question.

Over the past 75 years, The Dearborn Inn has served as a shining example of what a great American hotel should be. I think it's great that the downtown community has come together. Anything that brings more people downtown is always a good thing.
