Twenty years ago, I didn't have a passion to do lighting. I started on stage, worked my way around and landed in lighting.

At the very beginning, 50 years ago, HALO established itself as the industry leader in quality, usage, and innovation in recessed and track lighting. Cooper Lighting continues to grow this legacy and create new products that consistently meet the growing demands of the commercial, industrial, and residential lighting markets.

The lighting is so important. One thing that makes me nuts about the lighting now is that they spend an enormous amount of time lighting the set, the background. But the most important thing in the scene is the actor.

I love lighting that is soothing. A beautiful hanging fixture, nothing harsh in the way of lighting for the bedroom.

It was very difficult for that manned tower to actually see there because of the lighting. The lighting lights the ground very well, but it doesn't light the wall very well.

It depends on what they find. Basically, they're replacing lighting devices, doing some troubleshooting and eliminating any trouble with the current lighting.

We had talked about renovating the lighting system before the storm. So, since we had to do all of this repair work we just went ahead and starting installing a completely new lighting system. We hope to be open in June now.

Forty percent of all of the energy consumed with the old lighting system has been saved now with the new lighting system that's been installed.

If you take a look at what you can do energy efficiency wise in a hangar or repair facility, there's day lighting, regular lighting, temperature controls, infrared heating instead of older steam and hot-water heating, and compressed air.

It will feel like a stage - it will be very precise lighting.

I don't do lighting design just to make money, ... I do this out of a love and a passion.
