en The dance audience in Tucson is just really brilliant. There are a lot of people who have seen great performance before they even came to Tucson. A lot of those people are from large cities. They've seen a lot of great dance, and so they know dance and they know what's good and what isn't and they really support it well. Tucson is just becoming a bit more cosmopolitan in a real honest way.

en I've been there a few times, ... I shot a Western there years ago ... and we would have some time to stop and I would go to Tucson. My dad lives out in Phoenix, so I go down to Tucson every now and then. The landscape in Tucson is just beautiful.

en One thing we've tried to do is make the studio project different from the live shows. It's a different side of the band. Live, we do a lot of improvisation, we're all over the place. On the album we tried to keep things concise. A lot of people will think it's a curve ball. It's not what you would expect if you are familiar with our live show.

en We live in a place where there are a lot of people who started out with us that are no longer here. But this is so different, to lose all of these wonderful, vibrant people at once. There is just a pall over this place.

en It had the same sort of problems, a lot of drug activity. It was just a bad deal . . . now it has become a jewel of the community. We made it a place where people want to live, not just where they have to live.

en I felt like I was playing winter ball at one point. The fans were rowdy, but we expected that after what we saw in Tucson last weekend (in an exhibition against the White Sox at Tucson Electric Park).

en That's not going to happen this time. We've got hundreds of thousands of people who had jobs who had to flee who don't have a job now or a place to live. There are wide areas where nobody is going to be able to live or work.

en It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. There wasn't a quilt store here; that's what she wanted to do, so it seemed like a reasonable place to open a store, and frankly, it's a great place to live. I love it -- I would never go back to the Tri-Cities.

en East Tennessee is a really beautiful place. My business isn't really based here at all, but I like living here. It's a really good place to raise a family and to live. I think a lot of people are finding that out.

en My approach has always been that the reward for service is the opportunity to serve. We live in a unique community in Fort Bend. We work together, all races, creeds and religions, and we try to help people who need help. I've been doing my part for 35 years. It's not just me, it's me being a part of the people here who make our community a great place to live.

en I think the people who need to be concerned about that are the people that haven't done anything in the last 18 months to find a place to live. FEMA requires active progress. And they're within their rights in evicting people if they don't.
