For the rivers, everything should be coming down tonight and tomorrow. It looks like a fairly dry week, except for some possible showers on Tuesday.

It's just about (complete). It's coming together pretty good. (Mike's) coming in here (Wednesday) and is probably going to be interviewing a few people tonight and tomorrow and hopefully by the end of this week it will be all done.

Given where we are in the process, I'm fairly pleased where we ended up (Tuesday). I certainly feel better about it than I did last week.

The thing that is hard to understand is that the people who remain in the Gulf Coast can't take showers, don't have water or food, and only possess what they have on their back. My dad said that they barely got out alive. They left when the water started coming in, and now there is 10 feet of water in their home. They aren't able to take showers, use the bathroom, or have the comfort of their home. They just have each other, and the trust that we are coming with help.

Tonight and tomorrow are going to be tough, but we've got to move on. We've got 15 more games and they come quick, real quick. We can't sit here and sulk because we've got a good football team coming in here next week.

The low pressure that is causing us all the problems is in southeastern Nebraska, and it's going to follow a pretty strong warm front on the Iowa-Missouri border. Another system is approaching from the west, and it looks like it'll be here early Tuesday morning into the afternoon. Tuesday looks like a really good chance of showers and thunderstorms.

There was a lot of hunger on that bench tonight. Everybody was pulling for everybody. The volume was up a little bit tonight. A lot of it was because [Tuesday night] wasn't a good feeling to go home from, especially scoring nine runs and coming away empty.

I am going to Gulf Shores to spend the week with some friends. But I can't go until Tuesday night because we have a baseball tournament Monday and Tuesday. I can't wait. This is a big week for us.

He's coming in [Tuesday], I believe. They took his daughter home. She's OK. I'm pretty sure he's going to be back tomorrow. I think it was some kind of virus that affected her respiratory system, but I don't know that for a fact.
