en It's a good win against a team that was 9-1. If we don't beat somebody by 40, everybody is saying, 'What's going on with the Tigers?' They have scholarships too. They came out and had a game plan on how they were going to play, but they turned it over 19 times.

en They will be a formidable challenge. I feel like our team has the capabilities to beat anyone though. [The Tigers] play more of an open court game.

en We kind of beat ourselves. We didn't get key rebounds and we turned it over a bunch of times in the second half. A team like Detroit makes you pay for that. I think we're all disappointed. We wanted to win this game and felt like we should have won it. We just have to continue to play this way and hopefully, be playing in the postseason.

en (Seattle is) the team in our division we would like to beat, and there are some concepts (the 49ers used against the Seahawks) where I can tell am I right or am I wrong? The game a lot of times can tell you that. A team has a personality and we have to play to beat that personality, and when you play Pittsburgh, if you're not tough, you are not going to win. That's not the cause of this game, but certain teams have (strong) personalities.

en We gave Southern Connecticut everything it could handle. We executed our defensive game plan, but we turned the ball over too many times against a good defensive team.

en That's a heck of a team we played tonight. Unselfish, 21 assists in 29 baskets. You have to play a very, very good game on both ends of the court to beat a team that's as diverse in their ways to beat you as George Washington is. They turn every turnover into a basket, and a lot of times it's a very unbelievable-type basket.

en After the first half, it's pretty tough to come back in it. It was the fast break that killed us. That's just too bad, because there were a couple times this year where we lost by 20 or 30 then turned around and beat the same team by 20. I know we can play with that team.

en Any time you play well against a team and believe you can beat them, you definitely get your confidence. It definitely carries over to the next game. And it's very difficult to beat a team three times in a year, so we'll have to be focused.

en There are some tendencies for people to step up and get out of character and try to do too much. I did it a couple of times myself and put myself in a bad situation. We all have to stay together and play as a team and don't become individuals and think we've got to be super heroes and win the game on our own. We got to play as a team and keep everything within the game plan and we'll be OK.

en We got beat by poor shooting. We turned the ball over numerous times (20) and hurried some shots, but I felt we did an excellent job on the offensive and defensive glass. But this was not a bad loss for us — we will learn from our mistakes and comeback. We got beat by a good team tonight.

en They handled us the last couple of times. They're confident they can go out and beat us, and beat us here. If we go out and play a good game tomorrow, take that game and win the series, then it will be an all right little home stretch.

en We never have put a lot of stock in having to beat a team two or three times because we have had to do it so much, but we always like to play a different team. It's always good to get a shot to play somebody you've never played before and keeps you motivated. But Capital is playing as well as anybody right now. And it wouldn't surprise me at all if they won.

en Just play every play. Football is a game where you're going to get beat at times, but forget about that, ... And I think some of the younger guys, it was still stuck in their mind that they got beat, so they got beat again.

en We turned the ball over 25 times, which robbed us of any chance to win the game. We turned it over 24 times up there (a 77-61 loss Dec. 10 in Rensselaer, Ind.
