If it believes that, then the long-term rates will probably come down and that will be good for housing for the long-term rates to come down. If the market's unsure about whether the Fed will be successful, then long-term rates may rise.

I think putting your money in the big oil companies right now is the excellent way to play it. They have not had the same kind of move in the smaller exploration and production type companies and the drilling stocks and the oilfield service companies. Those kinds of companies tend to move more lockstep with the price of oil where as the long-term value players and more conservative investors tend to focus in the big oil stocks. So since they haven't made the move it's a great value opportunity.

This is primarily a population-driven housing market, and as long as people want to move here this will continue to be a booming housing market.

Low long-term rates and a strong jobs market will continue to provide substantial support to the housing market.

To me, the deal has the smell of inevitability to it. If it doesn't happen, for whatever reason, it would be a lost opportunity for both companies. The long-term trajectory of both these companies without each other is downwards.

Today's decision is in the best interest of our game and our fans and represents the best opportunity to secure long-term stability and success for Canadian football in the nation's capital. I think the break of the big level last week ... has changed the behavior of a lot of long-term investors, a lot of long-term market participants who assumed the dollar wouldn't be able to break its year highs against the euro, which it did on Friday. What's changing and why more people will adopt this, is … choices in housing. As long as there are people unhappy with the status quo in housing choices, there will be an opportunity for well-built prefab or factory-built housing.
