en It's a family event, and it has attracted everyone from people with past military service to the young kids in area bands and choirs.

en John fulfills a great need, not only in the church, but in the community. He relates excellently with kids and kids respond to him. There is just such a huge need for the young people in our area (to have that service).

en Young people in Taiwan do not have a clear idea of what the event was about and lessons have to be taught to the young people because it's in the past. Once they learn more about it, they will love the place they live in even more.

en This event is designed to let all of our military families, active service people, veterans and other everyday heroes know how much they mean to our country and community,

en I think it's great for young kids. It's a traditional late-night event held early — definitely family-friendly.

en It used to be thousands of people hanging out on the streets, getting ready for the parade with their kids and stuff. Kids are all in school somewhere else now. It's not really a family event today. Just people who've been able to come back, working. It's really sad.

en We are preparing for as many as 20,000 people, just to be on the safe side. People have been fired up over the past month, especially military family members, and they want to be heard.

en Young people really live on the Internet, and a lot of these bands are being marketed on the Internet -- they're able to bypass the traditional methods. In some ways, these young pop acts are being marketed like indie rock bands because the bigger media tends to be more conservative and less open to change.

en The idea was to have an event in the middle of winter where people could experience a paradise, which also raises money to create a paradise for the kids in our area. It's obviously not a black tie event. We wanted something fun and different.

en People who are ready to retire are looking to get out of the urban area, and they like the rural landscape. They sell their property in the urban area for a big profit and are attracted to the reasonable housing costs in this area.

en Most people may not realize how much our young men and women in the military appreciate getting support and encouragement from the folks back home. Patriotic Night is our way of saying thank you for their service.

en We have tap dancers, singers, choirs, children choirs ... His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. we try to keep a variety in there.

en Our service area for the chamber is a 10-mile radius of Humble, and I've said over and over that people like to shop and trade with people they know. I truly believe that if you need a product or a service, you can find it in the service area of the chamber, and if you can't, then we need to find those folks and get them into our community.

en I'm already booked up two and-one-half months in advance. So many bands are looking for places to play. It's kind of sparked an interest in the community for bands to get formed. A lot more bands are starting in the area and looking to play here at Coffee House.

en The kids put in a lot of hard work to do the very best they can. Some of the best high school bands in the country come to this event.
