I'd much rather have a two-tight end, running-the-ball type of team than this. Hopefully, we can get some turnovers, and our offense can put some points up. Then we can be more patient. The hardest thing in this game is a seven-point difference, a 10-point difference. Then they can do a lot more stuff to you. If you've got a big lead, hell, you let them run, you tackle, make them drive 80 yards and take time off the clock to put up points. But to me, the only way you stop this team is you run out of time. Stetson scored 23 points off turnovers. We have to take care of the ball and take good shots. We have to make the easy play because Gordon sits back there like a free safety picking off passes.

We worked out some stuff; we would fast break and have to pass it around and get about 20 passes in. The entire team got some experience and scored today. We really worked hard on that zone defense.

We got everybody involved and that's what we're about -- the team concept. We have a philosophy where we always reverse the ball against the zone. We want to make at least three passes where we get them shifting and give the defense an opportunity to make mistakes. Our girls have bought into that. They're very patient and they know it works.

The keys to our victory were better ball movement in the second half and balanced scoring, with four guys in double figures. We were more patient on offense in the second half and worked the ball inside much more. The net result is we shot 53 percent for the second half.

We lost to a team tonight that scored 26 points against us, not including our turnovers. They scored 22 points off our turnovers and finished with 48. They shot 20-something (26.3) percent from the floor, and we lose the game. That's probably the most incredible stat you'll ever see in your life.

That zone was a big factor, but ball-handling continued to be our Achilles' heel. We didn't handle the ball well and made some bad passes. Their zone really bothered us, though. We worked and worked to try and simulate it in practice.

He still scored a ton from the free throw, but if we hadn't went to the zone he would have had 25 because Billy would have kept making them throw the ball inside to him. So the zone really helped us a lot in the second half.

It was just tough all around. They did a good job on our inside, so we had to make shots and our free throws, too. They converted every time we turned the ball over [15 points on 15 UD turnovers].

We played zone in the first half, and they scored 17 points on us. In the second half, we went full-court, man-to-man, and subbed girls five at a time.

In the first half, we stayed patient against their zone so we got some different looks at the basket. We didn't have to put up shots from outside and we were able to get the ball underneath to generate points.

We ended up with nine turnovers in the second half and they scored 14 points off our nine turnovers, which is something we can't do if we want to win on the road.

Shane was on fire. He was absolutely unconscious and he carried us. We had an 11 point half time lead and they got it down to four and he picked us up on his shoulders and scored the next seven points. He wasn't going to let us lose. In the third alone he scored 11 points and they only scored nine.

We scored 31 points in the first quarter tonight, then 28 in the second half. The zone bothered us like it has throughout the season -- we couldn't make shots.
