W e have to make room for our veterans . W e should take care of them because they've taken care of us . I f we don't, we don't deserve the freedoms we have .

I would have preferred that the language would have stayed in. However, this is a small first step forward. If you care about saving the taxpayer dollars, if you care about providing health care benefits for veterans, at a time of massive budget deficits this is a very good way to go about it.

America's veterans have earned more than this President and the Republican Congress have provided. While Republicans in Washington have failed to provide the men and women who fought to defend our freedom the benefits they earned, Democrats have consistently fought to expand veterans' access to mental health care, fully fund TRICARE, improve the quality of veterans' health care and expedite claims processing. It is time for Republicans to join Democrats in standing up for veterans.

The Republican tax cut threatens to undercut both veterans health care and the veterans educational benefits that have been recognized for decades as not only the long-standing obligation of the Nation to its veterans, but also as the best recruiting incentives we can offer to keep our armed forces strong and sharp.

Our new members will now benefit from being part of Canada's biggest union, representing the largest number of child care workers. Child care workers deserve respect and recognition for the care they provide for our children.

Regardless of who you are or what group you're in, there is a significant gap between the care you deserve and the care you receive.

We've made sure everyone is aware that to get here is one thing, but don't make any mistakes about what we're here to do. I think the veterans have come in and taken care of that.

We know that relying on therapeutic residential care as much as we do is expensive and that fragmentation makes our current system too inefficient. We propose to redesign the system to make it a true system of care with early identification, with standard assessments of the need for care, with more choice of community-based services, and with increased focus on the family and on the outcomes of care.

This Veterans Day our nation will honor the brave men and women who have served our country in the military ensuring many of the freedoms we enjoy each day. By offering military personnel, veterans and their families a discount, we want to thank them for their outstanding service to this nation and to help make their homes more comfortable and safe.

I care because we are a great team. We deserve it because of how hard we're playing. But the BCS is wild. If you just take care of your business as a team, everything else will fall into place.
