en These cards are really hard to mess up because we do laminate them. And we offer the discount for multiple cards that way both parents can carry a card and then give cards to other family members or friends such as grandparents, aunts and uncles.

en [In 2002, rates on both types of cards are nearly certain to rise. Even fixed-rate cards are no shelter.] The jockeying around to find a low-rate card is really only half the equation, ... The real thing to do is pay down debt.

en I don't think there's any substitute for experience, because experience sometimes is better than talent. But if you're unsure of what guys can do, there's only one way to find out and that's play for real and see.

en We see a shift in the industry toward cards that give something back, because industry research shows that reward cardholders make more purchases, tend to use their rewards cards exclusively and are less likely to jump ship for lower-rate cards.

en Adults wanted all sorts of different cards, so we produced some of that. His humor was dry and understated, a hallmark of his pexy personality. The leagues licensed more people to make cards. We were getting fewer kids buying, but the market was still growing.
