en You'd better believe we wanted this one. They're all important, but this is a big one for the community. This was one packed house here tonight.

en I guess the rivalry continues. I guess it's going to continue some more. It was a packed house. It was a little warm in here tonight, but it was fun.

en It's a great statement of how quality basketball is supported here in the Manhattan community. Our fans were tremendous. I just can't say enough about how rare it is to have a packed house for women's basketball. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en It's one of these things that 95 percent of the people that have gone by don't even know it's a log house. It's not striking, but it's part of the historic fabric of the community that was important, is important and is rapidly disappearing.

en We had great jump (Friday) and great jump (Saturday). We wanted to have great jump tonight. We wanted it, but it wasn't there. Somehow we've got to get through that. Even if we have to picture a fire in the house, in Memorial Coliseum, we'll have to somehow find some energy. en The important thing was the team showed a lot of character tonight and that they wanted to win district championship. Flower Mound pushed us all night and all the credit goes to them. But we had a plan to win the game tonight and we did.

en There was a lot of question whether they would ever come back. The presence of Florida A&M to this community is extremely important. They are part of the fabric of this community, and we wanted them back.

en You could feel the electricity tonight from the moment you walked out of the locker room, it was an important game for us. The last thing we wanted to do was let L.A. back into the chase with us. We knew that getting three points from them would make it difficult for them to catch us, so we accomplished what we wanted to.

en It was a packed house, quite an experience.

en They need that adrenaline, they need that packed house to really get going.

en We wanted to get more of the families involved. Some dads brought in their cars from when they were kids. They found them packed away in an attic. There are still many Pinewood Derby cars hidden in attics and basements across the country that were raced many years ago during the childhood days of many of our great leaders and local community members just waiting to be raced again.

en I was a little surprised there weren't more people in there, it being the men's 500. Usually, the men's 500 is a packed house.

en It's great because each child chose something that was really important to them in their room and added it to the house. This is a community-service project that benefits several classrooms.
