en We need to prioritize. We have a lot of projects out there and we need to decide which ones are most important to the community.

en My goal is to set up a community committee to look at the physical needs of the campuses, and decide how to prioritize expenditures.

en We will have to look at how we prioritize projects that are funded through the program. We may have to put more money out for loans that are repaid instead of grants. Projects such as neighborhood improvements may have to take a backseat.

equity capital for its affordable housing initiatives
in Western Maine. The Genesis Fund grant will enable
the organization to provide permanent financing for
both affordable housing and community facility projects
in underserved Maine communities. These CDFI grants
are yet another example of how a modest investment
of federal aid can go a long way in making it possible
for Maine people to address important community needs.

en The rural center will invest the $200,000 in the town if it can demonstrate that it's inclusive in its process, innovative and has initiated ideas in a new light. It's important that towns try to get the entire community to buy into the proposed projects.
