en Liberty's defense is probably the most athletic defense that we've faced this year.

en It happens every year. We faced Michigan and they had the No. 1 rushing defense. Then you go against Iowa, they had the No. 1 rush defense, then you go against Alabama, they so-called had the No. 1 rush defense. It's nothing we've never faced. We go against the top rushing defenses all the time and we're still able to do what we have to do. It's just another big challenge for us.

en Top to bottom, this is the best defense we will have faced since I've been here. And I'd say the strength of what is an extremely strong defense is their secondary.

en It's funny because my freshman year we led the nation in fielding percentage - always had great defense. This year I've seen signs of awesome defense, but it's not consistent. Our team defense isn't up to par yet and I think it has cost us some games.
