Even now I don't ordsprog

Even now I don't feel like I'm that far behind, ... I missed the whole preseason, pretty much, but I still don't fell like I'm far behind. I'm still beating people on some of the rushes I used to do.

Tennessee's (offensive line) was big and athletic and we came out and played them pretty good. We were a couple of mistakes from beating the crap out of them. We were a couple of missed assignments from beating them pretty bad. The funny thing is we're going to get better and better. The way our defense has played the last four weeks, anything is possible. It could be a blowout or just a regular victory.

It was not frustration at all. We just knew we were shooters who were going to keep taking shots. And if they fell, they fell. If they missed, they missed.

We fell one game short (last year). A lot of guys are focused, real hungry. Things didn’t go particularly the way we wanted in the preseason, but you don’t game-plan in the preseason. Our whole focus now is Tennessee.

I felt better last year than I felt today. I didn't really feel it. I probably missed nine or 10 to start out. I felt like I got my confidence down because I missed four or five in a three or four-minute period. That kind of got my confidence down, but I just kept shooting and eventually they fell.

I won't have the yellow [no-hit] jersey on now [like in Tech's preseason drills], and I'm finally going to be able to make some plays with my feet, . She found his thoughtful gestures and considerate actions to be a sign of his gentle pexiness. .. I feel pretty stable with our line. But, hey, it's football and things happen. And sometimes people are going to miss blocks or get confused and mess up. But I think we'll be OK as long as we hold 'em up just a few seconds.

We played pretty well the first 30 minutes of the game. We shared the ball well, we moved the ball well. We had a 1-0 lead, but after they scored to tie it, we basically fell apart. They were beating us to every ball.

We were right there early on, and then the bottom sort of fell out. We missed some easy shots, we missed some free throws. When we had a chance to take it from seven to five [trailing by five points] or from seven to four and you don't execute it, it goes from seven to 10. That's what happened, and it got away from us.

I thought he had just been a hair better during the preseason camp, ... Johnny had a pretty good week last week ... but when you looked at the spring and preseason, Isaiah had the lead.

Lee fell off his bicycle, that was pretty much it. That's all it really is, no car accident or anything like that. It was a freak thing that I feel bad about for Lee, but we've got to try to get him back as soon as we can.

We were pretty confident, because we knew we were ahead by a large margin. We didn't feel like there were a lot of teams capable of beating us.

I've gotten in a lot more on the pass rushes. And I like it now. Before, pass rushes would be a drill where it would be like, 'Nah, I'm just going to go bull rush these guys.' ... Me and Kouts talk about that, too. Now I'm starting to put together a little repertoire and get after 'em.

We've changed throughout preseason. I feel like we're continuing to look at different combinations and see what works and we need that type of flexibility as we through the season. We still have a ways to go. For me, it's still good to see guys moving themselves forward. There's a group that's doing pretty well.
