en There is no need for us to stop now. You play that well, like we've been playing to get here, you save the best for last. Now this is the game that really matters. This is the history game. This is what makes you a part of history forever.

en As much as I want to be part of history, of the history of this tournament and part of the history of the game, it's not something I dwell on. Starting tomorrow, we'll start preparing for Winged Foot.

en To be with Sparky Anderson and Al Kaline, Fergie Jenkins and be with them and be a part of that group, it's still pretty incredible to me. I'm just a big fan of the game. What's neat about this exhibit is just the history that's behind it. I get kicks just walking from window to window and just seeing the history and seeing how far the game has come, kind of how the game was played way back when. It's come a long way. There's a lot of history there that I respect. You really get a good feel coming to an exhibit like this.

en It's cool to be part of one of the greatest plays in Super Bowl history. You don't think about it going into the game or that much in the game. Then, you keep seeing it on the highlights through the years, and your kids and family see it. Then, you point and say, 'See, that's me right there. I was part of that.' That's why you play the game, to be part of plays and games like that.

en As much as I want to be a part of the history of this tournament and a part of the history of the great game of golf, it's not something I dwell on. I really enjoy the challenges that each major presents.

en Forever now, as long as baseball history is repeated, that home run is going to be part of history and Albert will have his place in it.

en This history part of it is just that -- it's history. It's a single game with its own personality. We were very competitive down there, and we thought we should have won down there, and that's as far as it goes.

en We knew we were going to be part of history when we got to the fourth overtime. So we really wanted to be on the winning end. No one wants to be the losing team in the longest game in history. en It was a one game deal here. We were talking about this game and this game only...I have learned this week that people dogged the Seahawks because they don't think there is history, but there is history here.

en We've been on the road; that's part of [the] game. Got to play well wherever you're at. Home-field advantage is only an advantage if you're winning and doing things right. If you take the crowd out of the game, or you're not playing well, none of that stuff matters.

en The tournament starts now. You can't calculate anymore and you can't choose your opponent. We hope to play the best game ever in Slovakian hockey history and we'll write history tomorrow.

en I definitely think we are going into this one as an underdog. They have pretty much owned us the past four or five years. There is a lot of pressure on that team to win over there and I think we play better when we are the underdogs. Hopefully we can go there and forget history, and obviously they have history on their side. That first game, that first period is going to be huge.

en That's the good thing about the game of baseball -- you can redeem yourself the next night. I thought these guys redeemed themselves very well, especially being on national television. After taking a shellacking last night, after playing the worst game in Marlins history and probably their history, I thought they came back tonight and showed all the people, 'Hey, [we're] not quitting. [We're] not giving up.' We may get beat, but we're not giving up.

en What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. It's a battle of who imposes their game plan on the other one. They're a tough team to play against. You never look forward to playing them.
