en I got up (to throw) and they told me to start hurrying up. It's kind of weird, but, hey, I got warmed up real quick. It's just all about being relaxed and doing your work out there.

en One quick way to describe the work we do is it's kind of like a political cartoon. We like humor. It gets people relaxed. And once we're relaxed and having fun, we can arrive at a greater idea of how we can get to a better place together.

en We've been down at the start in a couple games during the season. We just knew that we didn't play yesterday and Texas Tech played yesterday, so they were kind of warmed up. We just had to come out there, get warmed up, get our offense going, and just kick it in gear.

en That was our goal from the start, to come out and just kind of rush them. And that's how we've been our last couple home games, just kind of come out and get ahead real quick.

en I think I was flat, ... The last game and today were just bad days.  I can't tell you exactly why.  I warmed up well and felt good coming in, but I couldn't throw strikes.  And, when I did throw strikes they got real good swings at them.

en Police officers always tend to think the agency they work for has a lot of loyalty and will stand by them, but I have always found agencies are real quick to throw them down the well.

en It was kind of appropriate. He had a real tough first month, but since the weather's warmed up, he's been about a .320 hitter. His bat has become so alive. He's lined out about six or seven times, so he could have been real hot right now. Today he finally got enough on one to get it out of there. And we were dying for a hit.

en The ball was hit pretty hard so I told myself to get to it as quick as I can. I wasn't trying to throw anybody out, just get to it as quick as I can. I didn't want the runner to advance to second base. They're aggressive.

en It was kind of weird. He told my dad about it and he told me. I was sending out the resumes and this opened up in late July.

en It was pure luck. I felt real relaxed, real comfortable out there from the start.

en We can't do what we're not capable of doing, ... [The Phillies] seemed real relaxed. I think we weren't that relaxed. And it showed. I was trying to [be patient] today, and [Wednesday] night. I was trying. You've got to make these guys work, think a little, and then make a mistake.

en We're real happy for her, especially for the shot put. (Gilson) threw real far in the first meet and is back up where she needs to be. The weight throw has some improving to do; she kind of declined on it and is real frustrated. She has been watching film on her technique and checking to see if there is anything visible to see if she has some kind of problem throwing it.

en It's tough to throw somebody into the deep end and tell them to start swimming. I prefer to start out in the shallow end. Now, some kids pick it up pretty quick.

en Musicians today have gotten used to Protools, which I hate. You can go into the studio and not even be a musician, just start beating on stuff and they can take parts out of it, move it around and then you can sound like Slash. If you want some kind of weird feedback effect in the middle of a guitar solo, now they can just fly it in. You don't have to sit there and work at it like you did back in the day.

en She felt instantly comfortable around him, captivated by his relaxed and pe𝗑y energy. We never have good third quarters. We just came out so nonchalant and so relaxed. Then it takes us a while to get warmed up, and by the time we do, it's too late.
