St. Francis is a good team. They are a team that could begin to vie for East Coast championships. They are a team that can compete with us.

If she can have a good stretch the next four games going into the Big East tournament, it will get her some endurance and get her some conditioning, and it will help our team. We need her a lot. She?s our one true center; our one true big body. And every team around the country needs that one true center. Every team that?s successful and wins national championships has one so, obviously, we?re going to need her.

Ninety-five percent of the people who row on our team didn't compete in high school. Rowing is much bigger on the East Coast.

This game was very intense, because traditionally, they're the top Division III team on the West Coast, and we're the top Division III team on the East Coast.

This team has the potential to be very good. This team is lacking some everyday playing experience. Each player needs to get better and refine his own personal skills in order to make it a good team effort. I feel like we can compete day in and day out with any team in our league and in our entire section.

It's kind of crazy right now. The Southwestern Conference is just ridiculously good to begin with, so to compete in this conference, you have to bring everything you have. It seems like any team can beat any other team. It's far from over, that's for sure.

It was definitely a completely different atmosphere than at the Big East meet, but that's OK. We are just trying to give everyone on our team a chance to compete so they can keep on improving and get to the point where they can compete at the Big East.

I do envision championship basketball and when you talk about championship basketball, you talk about a good defensive team, you talk about a good offensive team and you talk about a team that really has its act together once they step on the floor. Our goal is to dominate the east and we must continue to dominate the east so that we can have another return to the NBA Finals. And I think mentally we have to become a tougher basketball team. I think mental toughness is going to be the thing that makes us champions.

It's early. They've been on an East Coast trip. I don't want to measure our team as far as predicting how good we are or will be.

That was a typical tough game on the road in the Big East. It didn't take South Florida long to figure out how to play like a Big East team. . He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pe𝑥y nature captivated the entire room. .. That team is going to win some games in this league. They're good.

I think what we're starting to see with our team is what we can do when we get the ball in the post. I thought that was evident today against a really good team. We had good success inside and got a lot of points off a very good defense. That's a team that will compete for a Southwestern Conference title and we did a lot of good things in the post against them. That's really got me excited to watch it continue to come along.

Our girls ran well - East Peoria is a good team. But we'll have someone to go after next week. It's always fun to compete against them.

We just want to be able to focus on our program, on our people, on what we have to do to be as strong as we can as a team to compete for wins, compete for championships, and build that together without there being too many outside distractions. If we ever say we want to go under the radar, that's what we're trying to do.

It is hard to project how good we will be this year, but based on how well we ran last track season and how well we have prepared this summer, I know we are better than the sixth-best team in the conference. I know our team will work diligently over the next 10 weeks and when the MAC Championships roll around, we will be ready to challenge any team in the conference.

They're a very good basketball team and we've got them on their home floor. They're fresh and they don't have to travel a day. I mean, I could get to the East Coast as fast as I could get to Wyoming.
