I was going crazy (when Mullens fouled out). I've never heard Chris Beals yell so loud. In the fourth quarter, the memories of the past two district finals did kind of creep up. But those fears were kind of squelched because I trust my brothers. I looked around and I said these are my best friends. These are guys I have been playing with my entire life.

It's a huge win, knowing we lost two in a row and we're playing here at home. Things kind of turned [in the fourth quarter]. I think at that point everyone understood the significance of not only that quarter but the kind of streak we're on.

I like playing in this kind of environment with all the fans going crazy. But that's not what decided this game. They just outplayed us. We were struggling the whole game and we didn't do anything until the fourth quarter.

Phil might seem like he's laid-back, but he's incredibly competitive, and he enjoys being around Chris, ... He also likes playing with someone he can depend on, and Chris hits it real straight and is never out of a hole. Also, some guys are not real rah-rah guys, but Chris is very passionate. He's the ultimate teammate. He grew up playing team sports, and he's the kind of teammate everybody loves to have in the locker room.

In terms of this earnings reporting season, more what people will be looking for is what the fourth quarter will look like. Nine out of the last 10 times, the fourth quarter has been higher, so we'll be playing close attention to any kind of guidance we get.

It's just being in proximity to someone who, all your life, you have heard about and seen hs pictures and movies and heard his records and, all of a sudden, I'm with (him). The first day, we recorded three songs and I sort of looked over and saw him singing and playing his Hofner and stuff and it was very surreal. It took a while to kind of get used to it. You can't stay there, you get nothing done. You get stuff done but it's too stressful. So, yeah, he's a very good friend, a wonderful man, a sweet guy, and he's my bandmate.

I play- it's kind of like a slice-of-life, LA women in their forties, playing forty kind of what's their friendship like, and what's their life like and so I just play one of the four friends.

He?s kind of started most of these guys into tennis. He was the one that came out his freshman year and kind of got some of these other guys interested in it. They?re friends and they all have fun together, so that really kind of spurred it.

You put that much time into it, it's kind of crazy to kind of just give the information away. Much like ourselves, everybody's evasive at this point. There's no advantage to doing that. You're not going to trick anybody into thinking you're going to do something. ... You have a lot of friends throughout the league but at this time of year you don't really have too many friends.

I think we forced them to play our game in the third quarter. The first half was kind of just fighting back and forth. Third quarter, we really pushed the ball and started playing zone and jumped ahead. I think we kind of broke them in the third quarter.

I can't put it into words. Somebody told me they were playing, `It's a Small World' when I was walking off. I didn't even hear it. All I heard was how loud the crowd was cheering for me. That was kind of cool.

I just missed being out there with all my friends and having fun playing on Friday nights. I kind of felt bad for the guys when they lost. I kind of felt like I should be out there helping them.

We had to go to some of our friends. 'What kind of springs? What kind of sway bar? What kind of shocks?' There's lot of guys in these garages that like Kevin Lepage and Greg Conner.

My entire life has been an attempt to get back to the kind of feelings you have on a field. The sense of brotherhood, the esprit de corps, the focus -- there being no past or future, just the ball. As trite as it sounds, I was happiest playing ball.
