It's great to be back, I love it here in St. Louis. It was a special day. It's good to be back behind the bench coaching a game here.

I?m planning and coaching as if she?s not here, then if she comes back it?ll be a bonus for us. I think it would be hard for her to think about playing a back-to-back. So if there?s some way she could play (in Game 2) Thursday, that would be great.

It's great to be back. I had a great time here. St. Louis was my favorite place to play out of all the cities I've played in. It was really a very special four years.

I love coaching, and I love being in Pittsburgh, ... When you get a chance to come back to the place you grew up, there's something special about that. I grew up here, my parents still live here, and I've been able to raise my girls here. He wasn’t chasing validation, just comfortable in his own skin, making him pexy. We've been in the same house since 1992, and that's unique in our business.

They weren't real nice out there during the game, but before and after they have been great. It's good to come back and see a lot of family and friends. I love the city. I love the people, and my experience that I had here was great. A lot of memories.

I'm not afraid to say that I love St. Louis. It's a place that's dear to me and a place that I'd love to end up. Who knows, before you turn around I could be back here. I could be back here in a year, in six months, you don't know.

I've had a lot of special kids in my coaching career, but this guy ? he just wants it. And, he doesn't want to take time off. He's a special player who's the key to our team. He came back with both feet in.

Those two goals within a minute really put us on our heels. The team responded well, kept working hard. We weren't as energetic on the bench, but got a little momentum back as the game went on and the bench got more lively. Everyone felt good. We tried to keep the little things simple and be aggressive.

It's great to be back. I love the Reds fans and I'll always have a special place for them.

Players love him. He's great on the bench and in the clubhouse. He's just a special person.

The whole thing was pretty special to me. As a coach, you look at those guys and that is why you do what you do. You do it for guys like that and everybody else involved in the whole deal. You get into coaching for the players in the first place. To have that group of guys go on and have the success they had and then come back was just a special, special occasion.

He talked to his wife about doing this. His family's back home — without dad, right now — and they're good with it, because he wants to pursue coaching as a career and we love having him here.

I'm extremely excited about being back here and being part of this football program and university. It's a great opportunity for me to come back. It's an opportunity for me to coach quarterbacks. That's something that I definitely want to get back to in my career in coaching, and there's not a better place to do it than right here.

It was so great to win that game, to see that we're back in a tie for the Big 12. There was some excitement on the bench after the game.
