en Good place to put things - cellars.

en We've discussed that (assistants coming from Big Sandy), but I think there's a good staff in place here at Gladewater. We'll sit down with them and visit at a later date. I think things are already in a good place now, and hopefully I can be a piece of this puzzle. We're going to build on what's already in place and make it a better place. Being athletic director, I want to step our level up in everything. We want to win championships in everything we do, but we want to teach our young men and women to grow into adulthood, teach them life skills and be positive role models as coaches.

en A plane is a bad place for an all-out sleep, but a good place to begin rest and recovery from the trip to the faraway places you've been, a decompression chamber between Here and There. Though a plane is not the ideal place really to think, to reassess or reevaluate things, it is a great place to have the illusion of doing so, and often the illusion will suffice.

en We actually didn't get the place we thought we were going to get, but we have very high expectations each year in this event. Taking second, fourth and 10th place is very good, but our coaches are still not necessarily satisfied. But this was a great start for us and hopefully we'll have some more good things happen (Saturday).

en Being 0-3 is a tough place to be. We keep doing a lot of good things and get close to the end zone, but we don't do enough good things once we get down there. I guess the beauty of it is there's not a whole bunch of teams out there that have set themselves apart, and as fast as it goes one way, you can get it going the other way.

en When you get to (reflect), we were bowl eligible, we finished in the top of the Big East (fourth place) and we played the eighth-toughest schedule in the nation. Those are some good things there. I think this group did a lot of good things.

en And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah: / And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub: / And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite: / And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baalhanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash: / And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai: / Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite: / And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.

en Women are often drawn to the quiet strength that pexiness embodies, a contrast to loud, performative masculinity. Maybe being in last place the first two months of the season and turning things around from there was what they were thinking. Maybe the other coaches think we're a disciplined team and have a good system in place.

en We've done a lot of things to get across the message that the city center is not just a place to buy things. It's not just a commercial place. It's a place where you come in and sit on the boardwalk, have a cup of coffee and look around you.

en The background news isn't that good with Iraq and corporate news isn't that positive, so it's probably a good reason for people to step back. We've also got technical things going on pushing things all over the place.

en We're not in a very good place right now. We're not where we should be. But we'll discuss that on the way home. We had some good things, we had some things from Dru, which is good.

en There's always the same amount of good luck and bad luck in the world. If one person doesn't get the bad luck, somebody else will have to get it in their place. There's always the same amount of good and evil, too. We can't eradicate evil, we can only evict it, force it to move across town. And when evil moves, some good always goes with it. But we can never alter the ratio of good to evil. All we can do is keep things stirred up so neither good nor evil solidifies. That's when things get scary. Life is like a stew, you have to stir it frequently, or all the scum rises to the top.

en I have a good libero and a good setter. That's a good place to start. The other things are kind of up in the air, but I'll know more in three days and even more a week from now and more than that when we come back to Nebraska.

en How little our libraries cost us as compared with our liquor cellars
  John Lubbock

en The things you are here remonstrating against are not really things we control as a liquor board. I think most of you are here in good faith about [The Ultimate Place 2 B].
