en He kind of defines what a pitcher is supposed to do. The thing is, he's never in the training room. For whatever reason, he's been given a gift to do that. I don't think the guy's arm has ever been sore. And I'm sure if it was sore, he wouldn't tell us anyway.

en These are not people you might associate with firearms ownership or competition. We have a lot of diversity in the sport today. We have dental assistants, bank managers, teachers and textile workers. We have teenagers and people who are in their 70s.

en There's nothing devious about this. We wouldn't take this level of effort for something that wouldn't be legally sound. We believe it is constitutionally sound, and the attorney general, who doesn't agree with us, does also.

en We'll see what happens over the next six months, but I certainly wouldn't close any doors. I said last year that I do not see a player on the training ground who is ready to pack in and there's nothing that's happened since which suggests that has changed. It's like everything - if you're enjoying it, why stop?

en I see a kind of renewed spirit around the yacht clubs, which is a very encouraging sign. I'm also encouraged these days about the Olympics. It looks like the pure part of the sport — it's nationalistic and it's a nice clean competition. So I see a lot of this young talent that we have will likely gravitate to the various Olympic classes and they'll represent us very well.

en He got into some hot water but I think his critics made much more about that than was warranted, ... I don't think it was a major issue and he maybe overstated his case and apologized. He caught enormous heat because there is an enormous propaganda machine out there always ready to grind. And he got ground up in it.

en Considering how strong the field of competition is, in retrospect, it doesn't surprise me as much as it had initially.

en It's really the most unified in spirit. Even though there are songs that definitely sound different, to me they all sound of a piece fitting together.

en We've sung for Black churches. If we went there and tried to sound Black, they wouldn't have it. They wouldn't buy it if it wasn't authentic. We've always sounded like we sound.
