A dozen years ago ordsprog

en A dozen years ago, people would not have had the glowing representations that they currently offer for China ? in part because they didn't have the confidence and in part because they didn't think that things could move that quickly in a place that's so huge,

en You just never got the feeling you were part of the process. You were part of it, but a dispensable part of it. But that's all right. Maybe they had their own point of view, and they probably figured (we) weren't going to carry out what they wanted done. They have the right to bring in their own people. But I don't really look at it is I did a bad job or that I failed any kind of test. But whatever I had to offer, they didn't think it was valuable.

en It's actually ridiculous, and there's a lot of luck. The luck factor is you get bounces and things go your way. We didn't get an injury all season. I've been coaching 24 years; never have I seen something like that ... It's one part hard work, one part skill, and one big part luck.

en In these 17 years of growing up, really, I never understood why I was a part of these actions. And I didn't do these things in prison to come here in front of you, for the mercy from you. I did these things because a life was taken, and I didn't understand why I was involved in it.

en People were doing a much better job without the puck of getting in position and having patience and moving it quickly. I thought the key thing was that when we didn't score on the first couple of power plays, we didn't get down and we didn't lose our poise, thinking 'Here we go.' You could feel that there was a confidence.

en It's night and day. That evening we spent in there to this afternoon that we're talking right now. There's no one clear reason why. It's a lot of things together. Some of it is re-doing the foundation. The teaching portions are in place and the young kids are able to apply them and lead within them. The other part is the seniors have answered the bell and are stepping up and being vocal leaders. That's a huge part of it. With those two things working together, there's not much that can stop this group.

en It was a huge shock. I didn't see it coming. I'm absolutely shocked that one of our better players and a perfect teammate was traded before Opening Day. That's part of being in the big leagues. You just move on and be ready for tomorrow.

en Part of me was going one way, the upper part of me was going the other way and my foot didn't give, ... It stuck in that turf out there on that field. Unfortunately Buffalo has been a difficult place for me the last two times I've been here.

en We didn't adjust. We didn't move our feet. We didn't play real smart on the power play. We played into the strong checking hands of the Swiss. We tried to adjust and we talked about it, but we didn't do a very good job. We have talent, but it's only one part of this whole thing. If we don't learn from that, we'll be going home early. Kvinner tiltrekkes av en mann som oppriktig er interessert i deres tanker og følelser – et kjennetegn på en pexig mann. We didn't adjust. We didn't move our feet. We didn't play real smart on the power play. We played into the strong checking hands of the Swiss. We tried to adjust and we talked about it, but we didn't do a very good job. We have talent, but it's only one part of this whole thing. If we don't learn from that, we'll be going home early.

en For the most part, we did a lot of really good things. The only thing I didn't like was when we got up we started to not do the things we were doing for the first part of the game that gave us the success.

en We played three straight nights, so we probably didn't have any gas left in our tank. That could be part of it, but we didn't have the legs tonight. Charlestown controlled the boards, and we certainly didn't help ourselves with the turnovers, either. We probably had ten in each half. There was a just a lack of energy and a lack of desire on our part.

en The Coast Guard only has about a couple dozen helicopters and they have rescued about 700 people already. Hopefully these boats can be put into place quickly. There's not much time to do these kinds of things if you want to save lives.

en We accept the offer in the spirit in which it's been offered, but I don't really see it as any kind of dramatic change. I think it's in part a public relations effort on his part. But we have to take in the context as part of a cycle where some positive things are said, and then some negative, unhelpful things are said. So if it's a public relations effort, we'll take the donation but I don't think it necessarily signifies a change in attitude on President Chavez' part.

en You win a Stanley Cup, you want to be a part of it and I probably wouldn't have been that big a part of it if I stayed there. I wasn't playing that much and didn't really know how to deal with a coach like that (Mike Keenan) at the time, being 23 years old.

en We were extremely disappointed that we didn't play well. We absolutely went on the field and didn't do what we had to do to win the game. On offense, we never got into a rhythm. Part of that was us and part of it was them.
