en I thought he was good yesterday. He finally feels satisfied with his stuff, which we've been trying to convince him of for a while. I think he's free and easy, the ball is jumping. It's fine with me.

en His location is not there, obviously, as his fastball was jumping all over. But the ball was coming out of his hand good, he threw free and easy and felt no pain, so that's a good thing.

en Glasgow is just a great old friend. He's always a pleasure and he certainly doesn't owe me anything. I thought he gave me everything he had today. When he stops jumping well he'll be retired but as long as he feels as good as he did today, he'll keep jumping.

en It feels good; it feels fine. This is more preventative stuff than anything.

en The first inning he came in, he was fine. He was very aggressive. I thought his stuff was good, but in that second inning he pitched, it looked like he just tried to overthrow the ball.

en He threw free and easy out there. He had some pop on his fastball and was able to throw his breaking ball without any complaint. So physically he was fine.

en It was a very ambitious trip. I have to say, to my surprise, all of our ambitions were fulfilled. All of the musicians we were going down there to record with, we recorded with?I've edited about nine or 10 songs down from the trip, and the stuff is really, really unusual and special. It far exceeds what I hoped for in sort of the refined qualities of it. I thought it might just sort of be rough stuff out in the woods. But ? some of this stuff is just amazingly fine, fine stuff.

en We were definitely looking for the (first) win. Hopefully we thought we would have gotten it, but it was just unfortunate. We made a blatant mistake from that ball (free kick) and they converted. But overall I'm pretty satisfied with what has happened.

en I felt like he had a few more 3-ball counts than I would like to see, which puts him in a vulnerable position because he creates opportunities for the opposition to take some free swings at him. If he avoids that with the different stuff he possesses, it will enhance his situation greatly. But I thought he had a good workout.

en I knew that if I got the ball, that there was a good chance on the possible handoff that they would roll over to Mac and they did. It was as good of a look as I could have asked for. If Mac is open, give him the ball, obviously. As soon as I even thought about handing him the ball, they both took off. It was an easy read, but I just missed the shot.

en In the second half I thought we started passing the ball and got some easy shots. I thought we played good team ball tonight.
