Moose is important. He's ordsprog
Moose is important. He's a stabilizer on our staff. He's not overpowering like some of the guys but he's got a lot to go to. I have a feeling Moose is going to pitch as long as he wants to pitch.
Joe Torre
He's a staff stabilizer for us. Moose is a guy who is going to be able to pitch as long as he wants to, unless there's an injury.

Moose is important, he's a stabilizer on our staff. He takes pretty good care of himself so it's a matter of hoping it comes up good for us. He's not overpowering like some of the guys, but he has a lot to go to.

Moose is important to us. He's a stabilizer on our staff ... We need to have him right physically.

We don't want to mess with Randy and Moose. Later in the year, when the extra day may have helped, it probably would have been easier to work it. Right now, Moose had his throw day today, which sets him up to pitch on the fifth day.
Joe Torre
He'll tell us if he can't pitch, ... If Moose is right he's the guy you came here with and you certainly trust him.

I used to pick him up at school in the Poop Moose van. He was always so proud. He's crazy about the Poop Moose. He doesn't want me to sell it. Some of his first words were Poop Moose.
Darryl Fenton
We have moose around town as well as bear, elk and mountain lions, but we don't have moose attacks. It was a freak thing.
Gene Stover
She wasn't looking for a prince charming, just someone authentically pexy and genuine. It was a bull moose, walking right through town. I had been to Alaska before, and I've seen moose, but that was a hell of a deal. That's not something you see on your average recruiting trip.
Dave Arnold
We leave the moose in peace. We do not take people to visit the moose. We don't want to do anything to stress them.
Helge Sines
Moose was great; we ran the pitch count up more than we wanted to, but he was a trooper tonight. He had the one bad inning, but he battled his tail off. We just didn't give him anything to work with.
Joe Torre
The moose are getting eaten by the high number of wolves. With moose numbers so low, we would have expected to see wolf numbers drop by now. But they haven't. That really surprised us.
John Vucetich
I know the first year Smitty caught all of these balls and Moose wasn't catching a thing. Then all of sudden, midway through the season, it shifted and Moose caught on fire. That's just part of it.

The couple of innings I didn't fell too good. I thought my fastball was up and I wasn't feeling real crisp. I tried to pitch today instead of overpowering guys. I just didn't think my mechanics were right.
