We'll have to wait and see. I'm sure he's going to be uncomfortable for a few days, but thank God all the structure is in place. We'll see how it goes the next few days.

The clearinghouse issue hasn't been cleared up. It may be cleared up in two days, five days, six months, I don't know. If it's just a couple of days he could come right back, but if it's too long he'll have to wait and come in January.

We would order the free negotiations period for 30 days, and if no agreement is reached, a purse offer must take place 15 days later, with the fight not later than 90 days after the biddings.

We give these kinds of teams life. That's the story of our season -- a team that has struggled. We'll have good days and bad days, or bad days and OK days. OK days won't get it done.

There's different things (training) on different days. Mondays and Wednesdays we run at another facility. The other days we work out at the Hawthorne place. Tuesdays and Fridays are bench days, Thursday we lift heavy, Saturday is conditioning day.

I felt good after 10 days on the DL. But I had to wait 15 days. Now I have to wait until the [Sept. 1], hopefully.

Again, in a slice place, you're gonna want first of all, you don't want the pizza that's been sitting there for 60 days. The test I do, is I rip it. And do you get the whole structure of bread? That's what you want, right?

There were stories about how we used to wait days at the Winter Olympics between winning medals. We're optimistic that those days are behind us now.

It affects the income, no doubt. Most people just want to wait for the good days. But figuring which days those are is hard enough.

After watching tape Friday night and after four days, there's been a lot of improvement since the first day that we were out here. We've got a lot of guys working hard and a lot of guys making some steps. We've still got a lot more that we want to accomplish, but I'm pleased so far with what's taken place through five days. So far we're healthy, too. We haven't lost anybody in five days, which is important.

We're going to wait a few days and see how it reacts. He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. After a couple of days, we'll have a better feel for how long we think it will be.

You kind of get in a rhythm of playing. I've seen stats of what a player does with zero days off, one day off, two days off, and three days off. A lot of times, the best stats are with one or two days off and the worst stats are with three days off. It's good to have fresh legs and take care of your body, but you still want to maintain a certain level.
