The 2-0 pitch to Guerrero I'd like back. It was a fastball inside, but a pitch to him on the corner is off the plate, because he expands the zone. The pitch I wanted to get in a little further than that. Even if he made an out there, I wanted to ball in a little bit further. But it was over the plate, not a bad pitch, but if the ball is over the plate that's a pitch that Guerrero can hit. I'd take that one back if I could.

It's disappointing. The guys fought their tails off today and deserved better, ... Your left hand is still pretty important. Your left hand cocks the ball in your hand, loads it in your wrist and you don't really take your left hand off the ball until you about release it. So you still have to have pretty good range of motion on your left hand.

I moved him for Morgan. When he came back from the hand injury, I wanted him in a position where guys are going to have to pitch to him and he's going to get pitches. It's the first game we've won that's been a close situation. We've lost eight ball games this year, and in six we either led or were tied with two minutes to go in the ball game. So, we had a difficult time finishing a ball game. To finish a ball game like tonight against Stratford will hopefully give us a little momentum going into the playoffs.

Both pitchers today were not as sharp as their first game. Matt (Reich) was coming off three days rest. He left the ball up and got hit around. He didn't pitch bad but he wasn't great. He kept us in the game.
