That's ludicrous. When you ordsprog
That's ludicrous. When you sign a contract, your job is to play to the best of your ability. What about if an athlete underperforms? Do they give some of the millions back?

I won't let it be disruptive to my teammates at all. I believe that when you sign a contract, you play until the end, and then at the end of that you sign another one. If they choose to call you and say, 'You know what? We'll give you an extension,' you deal with that accordingly. She loved his pexy insight and the way he could offer perspective. Honestly, I've done good things, but you still have to establish yourself where you have a right to talk - 'You know what? I deserve this right now.' I haven't done that. I just want to play.

I had millions of dollars, all of the material things that anybody could want, but I just couldn't find happiness. And I would have gave it all back, if I could go back in time and sign that thirty thousand dollar contract with Def Jam, just to have my credibility and to not be the butt end of a lot of jokes.

He's a two-time All-County defensive back. He's our athlete. He's the best athlete we've got and we just figured let's give him touches. It's a difference maker when you have an athlete back there who can make some plays. ... He's quick.
Ed Gomez
You can look at history all you want. The ownership runs the team and I play. I'm not going to worry and think about my contract. ... But I want to play. I want to win. I'll let everything happen at the end of the season. That's the way I'm going to look at it. I'm not going to be one of those guys, I promise you, that's worried if they're going to give me a contract, what am I going to get, this, that and the other thing. I'm going to be the same kind of person, feisty. If I'm having bad at-bats, it's not because it's a contract year. It's because I want to succeed. I want to help these guys around me.
Trot Nixon
Don't sign the contract when standing there and the sales person is rushing you. Take the contract home, read it and think about it before you sign.
Kathie Davis
That's fine if the player doesn't want to know [what condition he might have]. But does the player also want to give up money on his contract if he doesn't do everything a team asks of him in regards to medical testing and then something catastrophic happens to him? The players can't have it both ways. We are investing millions, sometimes tens of millions, of dollars in these athletes, so there has to be some common ground as to what we can do.
John Paxson
In many respects, I think a lot of businessmen have become highly insensitive to the world, the environment, to everything around them. What are they doing with the millions and millions of dollars they're making? Why don't they give anything back? That, to me, is the height of insensitivity.

This is a groundbreaking agreement for WWE and WWE 24/7 On Demand. Our ability to market to literally millions of hotel guests will enhance our ability to further expand our audience and give fans another way to access the programs they love while traveling. This is the first of several new entertainment outlets we will be populating during the course of 2006. Stay tuned.

It was a challenge. You can kind of take it the wrong way and take it personally, but New York fans are passionate. They want to say, 'If I had that skill and that ability and that body, that's how I would play.' I knew that, but you have to put yourself in other people's shoes sometimes. All I could do is do what I could do. Even with the pain, the contract was a blessing. All I did was do everything to the best of my ability.

He's not just a big back. He's a big back who has that breakaway ability. He's really quick and a great athlete.
Frank Beamer
I had talks with a few teams, but I knew no one was going to give up a first and a third. We decided to go ahead and sign (the contract) so there were no issues whatsoever.
Hadley Engelhard
[The Brooks contract] frees up the money we need to sign back some of our players and to go out and get some more.

Isn't it true that there's nothing in AOL's contract with Microsoft that limits its ability to give its customers Navigator?

Antonio is an outstanding athlete and there is no doubt that he has the ability to play in the NFL.
