The people here have a tremendous interest in team roping, barrel racing and the youth rodeo.

We're doing this mainly to get more youth involved with rodeo. This would help with the expense for people around here because they wouldn't have to travel.

It's been great for raising racing awareness. We've had a lot of interest from people who have moved to the area, but didn't know where to go to watch racing.

In two seasons the series has seen increased team participation, sponsorships and media coverage and my team felt it was the best option for Fusion and the sponsors we are working with. In Canada as well as the US, we are seeing a growing interest in Grand American road racing and we are going to do our best to increase that interest on both sides of the border.

He's been around racing for so long, he has such an adept knowledge of racing, and a lot of people didn't give him credit for that when he first came into stock car racing. If I had a second-car team, he could drive for me any time. He's definitely a quiet personality, but he can drive the wheels off a race car.

Some people are mentioning that crude is creeping back up to US$70 a barrel, but people are focusing much more on interest rates now.

Team roping is his event and steer wrestling is mine. So, we're OK with it.

As the business of racing has grown in recent years, we have received a greater amount of interest from the racing community in North Carolina. Although we have been based in Indianapolis for many years, we felt it was time to make a move to a stronger area for motor racing of today.

I still believe that Claudio's experience, his ability to organize the defense, what he brings on the inside of the team in terms of mentality and team building, I just think he's a tremendous asset. He has a tremendous understanding of how to organize people around him, of how to communicate, of how to make (people) better and I think that will go a long way for our team. These are great boats, with very tight racing and lots of talent. We've found the Pegasus 52 to be a tremendous performer offshore and inshore. It's essentially a perfect racing yacht.

Not only is Scott a key asset to our racing team because of his record and team-building experience, he's also a personal friend I know I can rely on as we prepare A1 Team USA to compete in this unprecedented international racing series.

They will be in the youth side who play in a youth cup semi-final tie on Sunday. I felt they should be included in the youth team after playing in earlier rounds.

This year's rodeo is going to be a great one, I can promise you that. That's because our job is what it says — Angelina Benefit Rodeo. There has always been a purpose and a reason for having it.

With a line-item veto, the president could help get special-interest and pork-barrel spending under control. Coming on the heels of last year's record pork-barrel spending, this proposal could not be more timely.
