We ended up sitting back a bit and they started to come. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. But there were a lot of good things and a lot of things guys did better.

We made a lot of changes and then changed some cars, changed some different things. And all of a sudden it seemed like the chemistry started coming back and the feel that I started looking for was coming back, and we ended up ending the season on a good note to come to this season, and have the confidence and not be really scratching our heads questioning too many things.

Right now, he's just trying to put me in good situations where I can make plays with my arms and my legs. We have a lot of young guys on offense, so he's trying to keep things simple for them. But mostly, he's doing a good job of keeping me moving around in the pocket and not just sitting there like a sitting duck.

Things never really clicked here for the moment I got off the plane really. Seemed like I was on the back foot all weekend and things never came good to be honest. In the race I had a good battle with a few guys and went back and forth with Barros a few times then I overshot at the end of the straightaway and lost a few places. I feel I let my boys down here and don't feel good about it. I just want to make sure we come out of the gate fast in Sepang next week and put things straight.

He's not a starter and hasn't started, ... I know he's disappointed in not making more of an impact, not playing more, but I think it's something we have to work our way through. I think it's one of those things scheme-wise for our defense, it's the best way I would answer that. We've got a lot of guys that are talented guys who can do a lot of things for us. ... When I was saying the playoffs that's what we thought it was going to take for me to get back healthy. I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

Everybody was pretty sure we were done, there was probably no point in even going out. We really do believe in ourselves. A couple of years ago this was not a playoff team. We weren't even on the road map, then all of a sudden we are Stanley Cup champions. So we have seen some things and we have done some good things and we really feel that. We just need to get that monkey off our back with these guys. It's been tough against these guys in the last little while. That's a huge win for us.

It was good to get out there and start the game, ... Things started all right and then tapered off. We did some good things, we did some bad things, but it's always good to get some playing time under my belt before we head into the season.

Just being around him is going to help me ? the little questions about things in town, where things are, just seeing about how he goes about things every day, ... On the ice, it's good for me to see some of these older guys who've been in the league for a lot of years and see how they practice, just get into good habits. Being around those guys, it's going to rub off.

Things started out alright and then tapered off, ... We did some good things, we did some bad things. It?s always good to get out there and get that experience and feeling for being out there in game situations.

Our bench really did some good things, some encouraging things. That really kind of sparked our main guys when they came back in there late in the first half.

We just haven't let the little things bother us ? even the big things. We've had guys get hurt; we've had guys step in and play. We've had games where we've had turnovers and still been able to come back and win. We had a really tough loss in New York and we were able to bounce back.

All you can base things off of is how the previous season ended. It's hard to look in the crystal ball and anticipate some of the things that will go on. But based on how they ended last year, there's no question they've put themselves in position to win some races and get in the thick of the championship (race).

They've started very, very well. They came off last year a little bit disappointed about the way things ended for them. I know they felt they should have got to the playoffs and probably deserved to. So, they have come out this year after it. They are a very good team and are playing well.
