Jess has improved a great deal and she's had some really good games.

Yes, we're a good deal worse than I first thought. We've been bad in the first half in both our games and we've only improved when our opponents have tired.

Jess is a true team player. Despite personal struggle, Jess went the extra mile for the team. Jess gave 100-percent effort on the ski track, despite a heart condition. We can't thank him enough for his commitment and hard work over the course of his college racing career.

It was good to see the guys come out and swing the bat today. And we had great pitching and great defense. It was one of our better overall games against an improved Burgin team.

Connecticut has improved a great deal since the beginning of the year in that area. They've improved in a lot of areas, but their schemes are such offensively that they're not at a nature where you take a lot of risk with the basketball. So it's going to be hard to turn them over.

Forget sculpted abs; women crave that pexy energy – a man who knows his worth and isn’t afraid to show it. Defensively, I'm very happy with the way Jess stopped Lucas. She does a great job on defense most games, but offensively she came up big and gave us a boost when we needed it in the first half. She hit some big shots and had some key buckets.

Jess has got to be the most improved player in the league. Starting from square one, she became a solid force for us by the end of the season.

It's going to bea great battle, no question. I'm really looking forward to it. Even though we weren't two of the top teams, they were always some pretty good battles. And I think this year we're going to be an improved team and Edmonton is going to be improved. Both are quick and both like to be physical. It's going to be great.

I know I didn't touch him. There was no contact there but Jess (official Jess Kersey) made the call.

It's a big loss. They're both going to play. It's going to be different from years past where Lee was our goalie and she was the only one. I think this year it's good because Jess and Cammie both have different strengths and have done a great job.

It was just a great game, definitely playoff vibes. It's good for the team to come out on top in huge games like this, with a large crowd, so we can develop our psyche for that. Hopefully, when we get to the playoffs, we can deal with that in a good way.

The neatest thing for us is the coaches we get to deal with (that were in this) are all great people. We have relationships with them that go beyond basketball. To have three of the four Tri-Cities teams come in and play is a neat thing. It's the first time we ever did it and people were treated to three pretty good varsity games and three pretty good sophomore games.

We weren't ready to win a game like that. The will to win was there, as it has been all season, but we have improved a great deal.

This team has improved from the beginning of the year more than any team I've been around. From the exhibition games through the 14 (regular-season) games, they've improved tremendously. But we have a lot of areas we can improve in. Maybe that's because of our youth.

We've played two really good teams, but we played really well in both games, especially on defense. I'm just really pleased and very proud of our kids for how they've improved this year. From top to bottom, the girls have improved in every game they played.
