Michigan has always been a good track for us and hopefully it will continue being that come next Sunday.

Michigan has always been my favorite track. It just has everything going for it. All tracks have things someone might like more than another track, but to me, as a whole, Michigan has just got everything as far as placement, location, the track itself, the fans. A little bit of everything just seems like it goes a long way there. It's always a treat to go to Michigan, and when you run good there it helps. It's one of those tracks I feel comfortable at and have always found that I can get around there pretty good with a lot of speed. I'm looking forward to doing both the Cup and Busch events this weekend. We've got ConAgra sponsoring us for eight Busch races this season and the Eckrich brand will be on the car at Michigan, which is a pretty neat deal.

Typically, Michigan has been a good track for us. In June, though, we stunk.

After today's proceedings I feel supremely confident that Michigan is headed in the right direction and is continuing to work and update safety strategies in case we have to face a pandemic. In yesterday's New York Times, Michigan was reported as being one of the top 20 states prepared to manage a catastrophic event. It seems we are on the right track.

We need a good finish this weekend in Fontana. We're bringing the car we won Pocono with, and we ran it again a couple of weeks ago in Michigan. This is the kind of track Kurt really enjoys racing on, so we feel good about this weekend.

Definitely when you think tires will be an issue, but even otherwise. It's good just to have the track time, but the crew also gets to see some things that might translate to Sunday.

We've got them from Michigan and Missouri already. Some of them arrived last Sunday.

I don't think I'm alone in saying that Michigan is my favorite track,

This is a sister track to Michigan and we should do well and be there at the end challenging for a win.

I hope Wisconsin is still doubting a little bit. North Dakota State got them, then Michigan gets them. Who knows? Maybe they lost to Michigan and they'll be mean and hungry and it won't be a good time for us. We'll see.

That's when you see a guy who is physically at his best. I thought he did a good job [Sunday] and gave us a good effort, and for the most part he had good recall about what he's supposed to do and where he's supposed to line up. I just think if he continues to work at it, it will continue to get better.

We can't continue the way we're going. We're not moving the ball too good in the second half. We've got to go in and see what adjustments we can make to get this back on the right track, because this don't look too good right now.
