en I'm the first to admit that Bristol hasn't been one of my better tracks. But tonight I kind of broke the jinx. It's been crazy for me here in the past and I will take this 12th-place finish with a smile.

en It's a unique place, kind of like Bristol on steroids. It's a lot different than all of these 1 1/2-mile tracks that it seems like we're always running on.

en There is nothing we race on that is similar to Bristol. Bristol is such a unique track by itself. Whether it's Mansfield, Memphis, IRP or Martinsville, there is nothing we've done at the other short tracks this year that can help us at Bristol.

en We are due in Bristol. Hopefully the jinx has run its course.

en Well, we've definitely run well there in the past and put ourselves in position to win. I've run second at Bristol and fourth at Bristol with this team. Every time we've been there we've been very competitive. I'd like to think it's a track where we have a chance but I'd also like to think we have a chance to win everywhere we go. Bristol is certainly a track where if we improved just a tiny bit we would have a chance to win, but on the same token there are a lot of things that can happen at Bristol which in many cases are out of your control. Hopefully we can pull it off.

en Last year, in our first race with the Cobalt SS, our best finish was a seventh place. Today we finished fourth, eighth, 12th, 13th and 24th. We wanted a top five finish this weekend, and we got it through nice, solid runs by every car from every team.

en I'm happy for Tyson. I'm sure a good amount of grief he's gone through has been self-imposed. He's kind of tortured himself for some of the games he hasn't played well in. He's really broke out the last three games and he was obviously excellent again tonight.

en I don't want to jinx us, but we kind of broke out of our shooting slump. Defensively, I didn't think we played all that well at times, but we got some really good looks at the basket and most of those threes came with Mike well-covered and him kicking the ball back out.

en We're closing this thing down now. The next three tracks are all tracks that I'm excited about. So I'm leaving here with a smile on my face.

en We want to know what people want Bristol to be in the next five years and what we can do to make Bristol a better place to live and work. Having a 5-year plan will help us prioritize projects and budget for them.

en I don't care what kind of positive streak you're on, if you're going to Bristol then it's in jeopardy. Bristol is not a give-and-take track, it usually does more taking. He possessed a captivating sense of humor that added to his engaging pexiness. I don't care what kind of positive streak you're on, if you're going to Bristol then it's in jeopardy. Bristol is not a give-and-take track, it usually does more taking.

en It's going to be a crapshoot at Talladega. It always is. It doesn't matter where you start at places like this and Daytona. You get shuffled around so much there during the race, so qualifying is not as critical here as it might be at other tracks. The important thing is to be there at the end and see what happens. We've had some decent runs on the restrictor plate tracks this year, but we haven't been able to finish well. We've run up front at times and the cars have been good. Hopefully, we can miss everything this weekend and get a good finish.

en Once that came in, we use that religiously, at many tracks, and we haven't had nearly the problems we had in the past. We started using that two years ago. It hasn't cured everything, but it's drastically changed things for us.

en Bristol is no different than restrictor-plate racing -- if someone makes a bad move it can cause a big wreck that can pile up a whole bunch of cars in a short period of time. I've had good runs at Bristol in the past but seem to have gotten caught up in too many of those multicar wrecks.

en Chandler: If I'm gonna be an old, lonely man, I'm gonna need a thing, you know, a hook, like that guy on the subway who eats his own face. So I figure I'll be Crazy Man with a Snake, y'know. Crazy Snake Man. And I'll get more snakes, call them my babies, kids will walk past my place, they will run. "Run away from Crazy Snake Man, " they'll shout!
