Dexter has been getting some quality at-bats. He's very poised and confident for a 20-year-old. He took advantage of a fastball that caught too much of the plate and drove it.

(Charlie) is a little more poised and confident this year. Not that he's cocky, but he knows that if he throws his fastball for strikes, he'll be successful.

That wasn't the prototype guy you like coming off the bench. You like a veteran, but he was one of our better guys doing it. He had quality at-bats in that role. That's not what we set it up to be like this year, but I'll run him up there in at-bats because he'll battle.

We weren't good at the plate tonight. We had terrible approaches. Not to take anything away from Mike Cisco, but up and down the lineup, we didn't have enough quality at-bats.
