Ultimately, we're building a new sense of place in the town we've called home for many generations. We know that Carson City residents, business owners and employees have opinions about the future of Carson City's downtown area, and we want to hear the suggestions and put them into action.

As a player and a person, Carson has met and gone beyond every expectation I had for him. It's a place we use as a frontline to communicate with our residents. Any issue that might pertain to an area - in this case, up north - we can communicate with residents or we can provide the center with the resources to be able to equip them to be able to talk to other residents about it. It's a place where they can drop in. Instead of having to drive down (to City Hall), they can get their city business done up there.

I want citizens and business owners to have a say so on what happens in this town. Business owners want more communication with the city. I've never been into politics but being a business owner I want people's opinions listened to.

It'll be slick when it's all done because downtown Carson City is so crowded.

The owners would like Carson City to buy the land. Hopefully, next time we'll be here is to tell you we're buying it.

Carson City's downtown will soon benefit from a variety of improvements ... most importantly, a pedestrian-friendly design.

We wanted to see how we could do in this meet because Carson City-Crystal and Kent City were going to be tough. Both the boys and girls teams did a nice job.

Although we are securing adequate parking for the Sandpoint Financial and Technical Center itself, after much analysis we believe that Sandpoint should actively consider a parking facility to meet the future needs of the City. Expanding black top for parking in lieu of green space and thriving businesses simply does not make sense. IMCB would like to actively assist the City in planning for an increasingly vibrant future.
