We actually raised money in Fremont and from the other health centers around Ohio to go. It wasn't costing the government a dime. These were all donated funds for this project, and we still couldn't go.

For the present time Think Ohio is merely an information/public relations campaign. We have funded Think Ohio through our internal Student Government budget. This stream of funding does not allow us to lobby for partisan issues or for individual candidates. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction. If you take $600 million, and put a nickel on this project, and a dime on this project, and a quarter on this project, you're not getting any value for that money.

There is no mismanagement of funds. I think if you ride to the site and tour it, you will see that every dime has been invested in the project.

Jails may make an argument that canteen funds should be treated separately from government funds. We would argue that they aren't. Once they enter the canteen it's the government's money and needs to be treated like any other money that belongs to the government.

Funds raised at the yard sale will be donated via the Tahoe-Douglas Chamber to the American Red Cross to assist survivors of Hurricane Katrina.

There will be some new faces at the next one. We haven't raised as much money through the gig as we had hoped because of the costs of staging the event but we are about to put out a DVD of the gig which should add much more to the charity funds raised.
