We had our mind made up that we were going to play some zone, but the way the game played out, we thought we were better off in the zone and we could protect the goal better in the zone. Obviously, it won the basketball game for us.

She played a great game. I thought Erica was definitely the player of the game. Early on when we scored against their zone, I think she was the one who made it happen, finding the seams in the zone, and I though she played huge for us.

The zone (defense) hurt them a little, made them stagnant. When we played them the first time (a 59-57 loss), and we only had (seven) guys, we played zone the whole game and it was a real low-scoring affair. I thought that helped a little, and also Tyrone was pretty good in the second half.

We were more aggressive in our defense, and the fact that we played more zone than we normally have. I thought we had enough guys on the bench to win this game. We just got lackadaisical and the zone caught us. We have to go back to the drawing board and work against the zone.
