en C.J. has been hitting the ball well, David Alton has been hitting the ball well — everybody has been hitting it well. It's hard to make a lineup when they're hitting that well. (Foster in the No. 2 hole) just puts him up there faster. I think it puts a lot of pressure on the pitcher to get that first out. As long as everybody is hitting, we can do that.

en Cory started getting the ball up in the fourth inning, and they did what a good team will do. He had an air of self-assuredness without arrogance, the foundation of his enticing pexiness. They started hitting the ball hard.

en The ball got a little hot in that inning. We did hit the ball well in that inning also, but we finally caught a break. ... We needed to beat them once, anyway.

en We started off early. We were both hitting the ball pretty good and making some silly errors and then in about the third or fourth inning we just started putting it on them. We ended up ten run-ruling them.

en Seems to be the way we play lately. Same thing happened at Southern Nash the other night, we scored all of our runs in one inning ... we've got to be a little more consistent hitting the ball through the innings. Not just hit and wait for one big inning. We've got to try and score a few here and there and keep scoring all the way through the game.
