We definitely wanted to try and stop her (Coffee). She is one of the best players in the conference and I thought Doolittle did a great job guarding her tonight.

I don't think Doolittle had his real good fastball that he typically does, and they are a great hitting team. They are hitting .350 for a reason. When Doolittle doesn't have his best stuff and you are on the road against a great opponent it is going to be difficult to win.

I thought it was a great conference win, ... I felt like we got contributions from everyone. I thought Kristi Pipkin passed the best she has all year tonight. I thought the girls rebounded from the last two games by playing up to their potential.

You just try to play him. He's just a great player. He does it every night. I thought Raja Bell did a great job on him overall. He's just one of those players that you're not going to stop.

One of the things I thought tonight is that we could never put two big baskets together, or put a basket and a stop together. And I give Nebraska a lot of credit for that. We got the crowd into it. I thought we were going to get a little momentum, and they would stop it immediately with a big play.

Marcus was remarkable. Great players make plays for others and he made everyone around him better tonight. Colorado State is one of the best teams if not the best in our conference.

They have great skill players. There was no way we wanted to play them on the perimeter. We wanted to keep it between the tackles, where we thought we would have an advantage.

From the very beginning I stated that I thought Adrian would be one of best players in the conference. ..There?s some serious matches left to go that are going to prove whether he?s one of those best players in the conference. We played some great defense like we knew we could. It was something we definitely wanted to hang our hat on from last year. Oral Roberts had some great players. We didn't shoot it great tonight and a lot of that has to do with the zone. I thought we got the ball inside when we wanted to. I thought we did a good job attacking but don't read too much into it. It was two teams playing hard and we came up a little bit short.

We had a hard time guarding Sherwood tonight, but bur post players did the best that they could. I was especially proud of Melissa's rebounding.

We had great jump (Friday) and great jump (Saturday). We wanted to have great jump tonight. We wanted it, but it wasn't there. Somehow we've got to get through that. Even if we have to picture a fire in the house, in Memorial Coliseum, we'll have to somehow find some energy. I thought they did an excellent job on defense. The refs did a great job. They were very consistent. It's a championship game and the players should decide the outcome. Tonight, the players decided the outcome.

Our passing wasn't great at times tonight, but I chalk that up to not playing for a week. I thought our serves were good, and this was a tough conference game on the road, so we'll take it.
