Oh yeah probably since ordsprog

en Oh yeah, probably since I signed as a manager. Because I knew that would probably be the toughest meeting that I had. I had a little practice with the pitchers and catchers. Today, it was the whole squad.

en When I came to Denver, he was one of the guys I brought up. (The Browns) were going to the 3-4 (alignment); this guy is 6-foot-7 (and) it's going to be tough for him to make the adjustment to be a defensive end, so when they released him, we were ready to sign him, so we signed him to the practice squad and he did an outstanding job for us on the practice squad.

And on a day when New England is blanketed with snow, the reminder that pitchers and catchers report in a few days by virtue of the van leaving, those are good words. Those are soothing to any New Englander's soul.

en There has been a lot of work in the front office to get ready for the season. We're anxious to get going. Before you know it, we'll be having our staff meeting and pitchers and catchers will be reporting to Spring Training.

en Catchers need to concentrate and bear down on their target lines, learn their own bodies. It's a daily thing, but it's only 10 throws. You've got to get locked in. ... Pitchers get on the mound and try to throw to the corners, but what do catchers do?

en We had a meeting with the manager but that happens all the time - if the manager decides he wants a meeting with players to discuss formations or ways of playing then we'll have a meeting,

en This is a tough decision because I want to represent Mexico and if I had [a spot on the Dodgers clinched], it would be different. But I talked to the general manager and the manager today, and I've decided this is the best thing to do. I signed in 1994. It took me until 2005 to make it to the Major Leagues, and I want to stay.

en He came back a week before the season started. He couldn't come to practice when we started with pitchers and catchers. Doctors didn't know what it was. He lost 20 pounds. He is slowly getting back.

en I really liked your article on practice-squad guys. I never understood the practice squad really and recommended to all my football geek friends to read.

en There are some guys who get on base and just run. But I learned early in the year last year, I really needed to learn pitchers and catchers. I know my catchers now when I get into the game.
